During sex, a baby‘s life can begin. That is how God designed us. Sperm travels up either of the woman’s fallopian tubes and meets with an egg. At the moment of fertilisation, a sperm fuses with the woman’s egg, and the genetic information combines. This creates a new human being with unique DNA, coding for the individual’s eye colour, hair colour and height, and from that point on the baby is growing and developing. The newly created zygote moves down one of the fallopian tubes into the uterus and implants into the wall of the mother’s womb, where he or she will be nourished and grow.

At just 21 days old, a baby has a beating heart. This is five weeks after your last period, and normally before you even know you’re pregnant. This heart will continue beating right through the person’s life even when they are grown up, and when they are old. At four weeks after fertilisation, a baby’s eyes, ears and lungs begin to form. At 6 weeks old, the receptors to feel pain are developing, and he or she has all their fingers and toes. By 8 weeks after beginning life, all of his/her major organs are present.
However, if you do find yourself pregnant and worried, ask us for help. You do not have to have an abortion to cover it up. There are loving couples waiting to adopt children. This option may take more sacrifice but will be well worth it in the end when you can see your child growing up and learning. All of us have had a mother who has sacrificed for us 9 months of pregnancy and given birth to us. Scientists have tried and failed to synthesize life from nothing.
A simple biology lesson will show that all mammals begin at conception. A new living cell is formed with all the genetic information for that creature. Then the cell rapidly grows and divides. Cows reproduce cows and sheep reproduce sheep. Surprisingly enough, humans reproduce humans! No human has ever given birth and said, “Oh wow, look! That’s a fish! ” However, human beings are not merely a species of animal. We are made in God’s image. We have the ability to reason, to love, be creative, and we have an innate sense of justice.
