The Gospel

The living and true God of the Bible created all things, and made mankind in His image. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, from the moment of conception. (Genesis 1:1,27; Psalm 139).

We are, each of us, fallen in sin and in rebellion against our Creator.  We have broken His Law, and the wages of sin is death and Hell.  We deserve it.  That is the bad news. (Isaiah 53:6; I John 3:4; Romans 3:23; 6:23; Hebrews 9:27).

God is just and must punish sin.  He is also the ONLY ONE Who could make a way for us to be saved.  God so loved the world, that He sent His Son to pay the price for sin. (Isaiah 13:11; 45:21;John 3:16; I John 4:9-10,14; II Corinthians 5:19-21).

Jesus Christ, the eternal God the Son, entered the womb to redeem the world (I Timothy 1:15).  Christ died for our sins, the Just for the unjust.  He gave His precious blood, was buried, rose again, and reigns today.  This is called the Gospel, meaning “Good News”.

(I Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 5:8;Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 2:8-11).

Jesus Christ is the only Savior from sin.  To be saved you must repent and believe the Gospel.  Turn and trust in Jesus to be saved from your sin.  It is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that you are saved and this is the good news.

(II Timothy 2:5-6; Acts 4:12; Acts 4:12, Mark 1:15; Ephesians 2:89).

To grow in Christ, read and follow the Bible which His word.  Live  for the Lord as His ambassador, being zealous for the truth. (II Peter 3:18; Colossians 2:6-7; James 1:22; II Corinthians 5:15,17-20; Titus 2:11-14).

(from Luke 10:27)”.

  1. Although I am devoutly Catholic, I know many pro-lifers who are not at all religious. Would it be possible to include links to secular, atheist and other non-religious pro-life sites to offset the usual hackneyed cliche that ‘we’re trying to force our religious beliefs on those who don’t share them?’

    1. I don’t know of any such websites. I know that the Lord Jesus said “Thou shall not kill”, and I do not know what other reason anyone has to insist it is wrong for others to kill living, growing, moving children in (or outside) the womb.
